I Long for a World

I Long for a World

By: Andy Willmore

I long for a world in which it is realized that Peace, Happiness, and Love transcend all of the limitations that we perceive them to have.

A world in which Peace is more than just the absence of war and conflict, and is also inclusive of states of being in which one appreciates every moment and every action.  A world in which people and other forms of life not only no longer need, nor want, to compete with each other, but rather dedicate their time

A world in which Happiness is created, sustained, and grown to greater and greater abundance, not for a few, or even for many, but for all things that can be happy.  A world in which Happiness is not exclusive to specific situations or experiences for anyone, and in which there are not reasons to want to feel angry or sad.

A world in which Love, in all of its forms, is expressed in so vast a number of ways that it is always more diverse than any one person can grasp - and a world in which these diverse forms and expressions of Love are not challenged by systems of thought, behavior, laws, or social codes that people have agreed upon in far-off, antiquated ages ago, and still follow to the detriment of their and others’ own joy.

This is the world that I long for and seek.  And, while I may most likely never find it within the time that I am alive as this human, in this time, utilizing this body and this mind in their current construction…I shall seek it still, if only because I know that the very act of seeking and striving for this will bring the current world closer to this purer place.
